Daisy Rock guitars are great for girls. I bought my daughter one when she was 8. It was a purple butterfly. She loved it! It had a shorter neck on it too (I think they called it a 3/4 scale) which was great because she was so little. Now my older daughter wants a guitar and I'm definitely going to get her a Daisy Rock.
